About E 308HT-1
The E308HT1-1 is an AWS-classified, gas-shielded, flux-cored stainless steel welding wire used for welding Type 304H stainless steel and similar austenitic steels, featuring high carbon (H) for improved strength at elevated temperatures (above 400C/750F). It's designed for all-position welding (T1), offers a smooth arc, low spatter, easy slag removal, and is typically used with 100% CO or an Argon/CO mix, making it ideal for high-temperature applications like boilers, heat exchangers, and petrochemical equipment.
