About E NiCrMo13
ERNiCrMo-13 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum filler metal (like Alloy 59) used for welding in extreme corrosive environments, offering superior resistance to oxidizing/reducing acids, chlorides, pitting, and stress-corrosion cracking, with excellent weldability and high strength, ideal for chemical processing, marine, and pollution control applications. Its low carbon/silicon content prevents intergranular corrosion, even without post-weld treatment.
Key Characteristics:
- Composition: Nickel-based with high Chromium (Cr) and Molybdenum (Mo) content, plus very low Carbon (C) and Silicon (Si).
- Corrosion Resistance: Exceptional resistance to strong acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric, phosphoric) and chloride environments, both oxidizing and reducing.
- Weldability: Good, with low risk of hot cracking and grain-boundary precipitation.
- Strength: High mechanical strength and thermal stability, from cryogenic to high temperatures (~1000C).
