About ER 310

ER310 is a fully austenitic stainless steel welding wire (25% Cr, 20% Ni) known for excellent resistance to high temperatures (up to 1200C) and scaling, used for welding similar steels, dissimilar metals (like carbon to stainless), and for cladding applications, offering good toughness at low temperatures but requiring low heat input due to sensitivity to hot cracking.
