E308LT-1 refers to an AWS-classified stainless steel flux-cored welding wire used for joining similar austenitic stainless steels (like 301, 304, 308), known for its excellent all-position welding capability, low spatter, smooth arc, and easy slag removal, producing radiographic quality welds with good corrosion resistance due to its extra-low carbon content (hence the 'L'). It's designed for use with 100% CO2 or Argon/CO2 shielding gas, offering high deposition rates for fabrication in chemical, dairy, and pulp/paper industries.
