About E 410-16

E410-16 is an AWS-classified, martensitic stainless steel welding electrode with a titania-type coating, used for welding 12% chromium steels (like Type 410) and for hardfacing carbon steels to resist corrosion, erosion, and abrasion, requiring preheat/post-heat for ductility and offering good strength, hardness, and elevated temperature resistance, often used for turbine/valve parts.
