About E81T1-B2 FLUX CORED WIRE
E81T1-B2 is a low-alloy, rutile-type flux-cored welding wire (AWS A5.29) for high-temperature service, depositing 1.25% Chromium (Cr) and 0.5% Molybdenum (Mo) weld metal, ideal for joining ASTM A387 Gr. 11 or A335 P11 steels in boilers, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels, offering good mechanicals, stable arc, and easy slag removal with CO2 or Ar/CO2 shielding.
Key Characteristics:
- Type: Gas-shielded flux-cored electrode (FCAW).
- Alloy Content: Deposits 1% Cr and % Mo for high-temperature strength and creep resistance.
- Applications: Welding pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, and piping systems in the power generation and petrochemical industries.
- Welding Positions: All-position (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
