About ER NiCr3

ERNiCr-3 is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-based welding wire (AWS A5.14, similar to Inconel 82) used for joining nickel alloys (like Inconel 600) to themselves, stainless steels, and carbon steels, offering excellent performance from cryogenic to high temperatures, resisting oxidation, creep, and chloride stress corrosion cracking in demanding industries like petrochemicals, power generation, and aerospace.

Key Characteristics

Composition: Primarily Nickel (Ni), Chromium (Cr), and Iron (Fe), with additions like Manganese (Mn) and Niobium/Tantalum (Nb+Ta).
Properties: High tensile strength, excellent oxidation resistance, creep-rupture strength at high temps, and toughness at low temps.
Corrosion Resistance: Resists pitting and stress-corrosion cracking in chloride environments, making it great for desalination.
