About ER NiCu7

ER NiCu-7 (AWS A5.14) is a nickel-copper alloy welding wire (like Monel Alloy 60) used for joining Monel alloys (400/404) to themselves, to steel, or for overlaying steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance in seawater, acids, and alkalis, suitable for marine, chemical, and food processing industries. It provides high strength and machinability, commonly applied via TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and SAW processes.

Key Characteristics:

Alloy Type: Nickel-Copper (Ni-Cu) solid wire.
Composition: Roughly 65% Nickel, 30% Copper, with additions of Manganese (Mn) and Titanium (Ti).
Applications: Welding Monel 400/K500, joining Ni-Cu alloys to steels, surfacing steel for corrosive environments (seawater, solvents, acids).
